MAJOR JOB DUTIES: Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

 

Responsible for utilizing guest casino play for comping decisions
Telemarket new and existing business through the use of casino promotions, special events, and direct marketing offers
Provide telemarketing support to Player Development staff
Assist Player Development Department with room reservations
Responsible for gathering relative information for future telemarketing efforts
Responsible for reviewing and understanding casino play
Must be able to establish and maintain good and proper relationships with hotel/gaming visitors and market the M Resort product to all guests
Assist other departments in their relationships with these guests by acting as a liaison
Assist with Special Events and Player Development Events
Maintain the proper criteria for guests who are entitled to use the VIP Lounge
Maintain guidelines for items in the VIP Lounge

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:
EXPERIENCE:  Must have minimum 2-4 years customer service experience in a hotel or gaming environment

 

EDUCATION:   Must have a college degree or comparable work experience in the hotel or casino industry

 

SKILLS:  Ability to read, write and speak English. Good organizational skills. Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Ability to present self in a professional, pleasant, confident and well groomed manner. Ability to work effectively with staff, other department personnel, guests, and management. Must have a proven track record of personally providing excellent guest service. Demonstrates a positive and enthusiastic demeanor to guests, both internal and external at all times. Full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, policies, and procedures. Working knowledge of casino data base programs and LMS computer systems preferred. Knowledge of casino games is preferred. Data entry experience is required. Must be detail orientated. Career interest within the hospitality field or related industry is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Office 2007, Outlook, and Excel is required. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as necessary.
