Bartender

Position Purpose: Success of daily dining room operations ensuring the quality, service standards and expectations of senior management from start to finish.  A team oriented position that works closely to assist and support the Restaurant Manager with consistent and timely beverage preparation.  This position will follow correct procedures, liquor laws and ensure that beverages are served correctly and systems are followed.

Essential Function

You are a representative and extension of our standards and beliefs in the dining room.  Exceptional service from the time a guest enters till they leave is the baseline of expectations.
This position will ensure that all beverage recipes are prepared with exact precision and consistency.  The barista will also prep all beverage menu items, check and rotate product accordingly.  The glass ware, beverage equipment, coffee machines, blenders and tea machines, soda fountain and ice storage are to be cleaned sanitized and maintained daily.
Ensuring that all orders are handled promptly and that the guest is a priority.
Follow all opening and closing barista duties.  Restocking beer and wine cooler.
Keeping the bar service area clean, sanitary and organized at all times.
Seek solutions for any scenario that may disrupt operational flow.
Supportive Function

Answering phones and the successful execution of take out orders.
Food running under the direction of a manager or expo.
Cash handling and settling guest checks.
Understanding the food menu is a requirement.
Facility maintenance and cleanliness in all service areas, restrooms and dining room.
Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability

Comprehensive and complete knowledge for preparation of all beverage recipes.
Educated on food allergies and dietary needs.
Efficiency and speed with POS.  High attention to detail, clear consistent communication and proactive when given tasks and projects to complete.
Completion of all testing with a passing score.
